Well, I finally succumbed. I now have a livejournal :) I think this will be a good thing. I look forward to using it for fandom related activities, fic related activies, rants, praises, fic recs, fabulously lovely people swooning and general mayhem.

Short history of moi - ummm..leaving out the boring bits, I am australian, living in melbourne, fandom interests well..just about anything that has engaging characters, well thought out plot lines, great writing, lovely scenery and works well. Anime fandoms: Saiyuki, Kyou Kara Maoh, Descendants of Darkness, Inuyasha, Kenshin, Harukanaru Toki Naka De, Bleach among others.... (recent interest of mine, so am diving wholeheartedly into the fandom). Authors: Georgette Heyer, Jane Austen, David Eddings, Suzanne Brockmann, Jo Beverley, Mary Balogh, Mercedes Lackey, Tolkein. Musical Theatre: all of it. Yes you can love Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Frank Wildhorn and Kander and Ebb. Honestly. Fave show though: Les Mis. TV Now: Lost, House, Veronica Mars, The Amazing Race. TV Past: X-Files, Babylon 5, Buffy, Angel, Firefly. Movies: again with the everything from Lord of the Rings through Citizen Kane. Especially Lord of the Rings.

So, let me embark on the fabulous new world that lj will open up for me....must go find me some fandoms to play in....
